SEI Bolsters Leadership Ranks with AI and International Appointments

Pennsylvania-based financial services firm SEI is aggressively expanding its senior leadership team, announcing a wave of high-level hires across its artificial intelligence, data, and international banking divisions. The appointments follow a recent shift in the company’s investment management structure as it seeks to scale its global technology offerings.

The firm has tapped Sneha Shah as chief AI strategist, Michael Tryniszewski as head of AI orchestration, and William Coffey as chief data officer. These US-based roles signal a strategic push into advanced data management and automated operational services. Shah, who joined SEI last year, brings two decades of experience from roles at the London Stock Exchange Group and Refinitiv. Tryniszewski arrives from Takeda, while Coffey transitions to the team following a tenure as chief risk and data officer at AKUVO.

Beyond domestic operations, SEI has created a new international role for Barry Frame, naming him head of international banking and wealth management services. Based in London, Frame brings over 20 years of sector experience, including a previous stint as chief commercial officer at Avaloq. These changes arrive in rapid succession to the appointment of Nathan Shetty as chief investment officer, underscoring a broader organizational reconfiguration aimed at strengthening the SEI Wealth Platform and its associated data cloud services.
