Based in Singapore, Rohit Ganguli has been appointed global head of wealth planning at Klay Group. He joins the boutique financial firm from EFG Bank to oversee bespoke advisory services for ultra-high net worth families, reporting directly to Arjun Anand, the company's chief executive officer for the APAC region.
Ganguli’s new role focuses on navigating the complexities of succession, family governance, tax, and cross-border structuring. His move reflects a strategic shift at Klay Group, which aims to bolster its non-investment advisory capabilities in response to rising demand from globally mobile clients. The firm intends to leverage his technical background, which includes a master's degree in tax law and a STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates, to manage multi-generational wealth requirements.Prior to this appointment, Ganguli served as head of wealth planning Asia for EFG Bank since 2016. Kalpesh Khakhria, chairman of Klay Group, noted that the hire aligns with the firm's broader expansion goals. The company has been actively scaling its Singapore operations, recently adding senior talent to support its multi-family office and corporate advisory divisions. Anand emphasized that the addition of Ganguli is central to providing the sophisticated, holistic guidance that clients increasingly require beyond standard asset management.
